Cleanroom

Cleanroom

Cleanrooms play a critical role in maintaining contamination free production environments for critical processes. At VALMED, we

provide independent cleanroom testing and calibration services to verify that your facility is performing to appropriate international standards and operational specifications.

Validation Service

To ensure proper regulatory compliance and operational processes, systematic cleanroom validation and calibration is essential.

Primary Tests Include

  • Airflow Volume

This test ensures both unidirectional and non-unidirectional flow areas are properly balanced and unidirectional zones are maintaining proper air patterns

  • Air Exchange

This test ensures a proper ventilation rate is being achieved

  • Room Pressure

This test ensures that there is a proper air pressure differential between the cleanroom and adjacent areas.

  • HEPA Filter

This test confirms that the HEPA filters are functioning properly and capturing particulate matter.

  • Particle Count

This test measures the concentration of airborne particles in the cleanroom using a particle counter.

Optional Tests Include

  • Light Intensity

This test checks the illumination levels in the cleanroom to ensure that they meet the specified requirements.

  • Sound Level

This test measures the sound levels in the cleanroom to ensure that they are within the permissible limits.

  • Air Pattern

This test qualitatively verifies airflow direction using a source of visible fog

  • Compressed Air

This test ensures compressed air and gas systems meet the requirements of the controlled environment

  • Air Balancing

This adjusts airflow in the air handling systems to achieve design airflow, room air exchange rates, and pressure cascade
